What I Love About District 4!

  • Taking a drive out to Camp Far West and the Spenceville Wildlife area in the spring to check out the beautiful green hills covered in oaks

  • Walking along the Bear River

  • Spending the afternoon floating down the Feather River from Gray’s Beach to Star Bend with friends and family

  • Passing through the rice fields and orchards when traveling between Wheatland and Plumas Lake

  • Going on tours and learning about local history with the Wheatland Historical Society

  • Watching U-2’s land at take off at Beale AFB

  • Attending the annual Christmas Tree Lighting events in Wheatland and Plumas Lake

  • Checking out all the pets and their costumes in the annual Wheatland Pet Parade

  • Chatting with community members and visiting vendors at school harvest festivals

  • Sponsoring a Little League team and then showing up to cheer them on

  • Hanging out with neighbors at the annual Plumas Lake Block Party

  • Watching some Pirate football… especially when my son is playing, and especially when we are beating Marysville or Lindhurst!

  • Taking my daughter out for a frozen yogurt at Lick-a-Lotta

  • Hanging out with friends at Walkers Wine and Brew House

  • Grabbing a morning cup of joe from the Bridge Coffee Truck

  • Seeing hundreds of sheep mow down vegetation on levees and vacant lots

  • Listening to my favorite country artists at Toyota Amphitheater

  • Honoring our veterans by helping the community place flags, crosses, and wreaths at Wheatland Cemetery

  • Taking my kids to enjoy all the great activities at Bishop’s Pumpkin farm; and more recently dropping my son off there for his first day of his first job!
