Weeks of 12/01/25 & 12/08/25

My Recent Activities (Week of 12/1)

Due to the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) conference, which I attended, there was no Yuba Water Agency Board of Directors meeting this week.  As part of the conference, I represented Yuba Water at an ACWA JPIA board meeting.  At the ACWA conference, I also attended the local government committee, the energy committee, a session on building agency durability in turbulent times, and a general session.

On Wednesday, I transitioned from the ACWA conference in San Diego to the annual California State Association of Counties (CSAC) conference, which was in San Jose.  At CSAC, I participated in the Rural Caucus meeting, chaired the  Housing / Land Use / Transportation (HLT) Committee, represented Yuba County at the CSAC board meeting, and attended additional conference sessions.   While at the conference, I participated remotely in the monthly National Association of Counties (NACo) Transportation Policy Steering Committee meeting.

Community events on my calendar this week include the Wheatland Christmas Street Fair and the Plumas Lake Tree Lighting.

Looking ahead to this week (Week of 12/8)
