Other board and committee meetings on my calendar include:
- Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) MegaRegion Working Group. [The Megaregion Working Group comprises elected officials who represent the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC), the San Joaquin Council of Governments (SJCOG), and the Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG); four from each. Together, we are tackling how people and goods move throughout the 16-county Northern California megaregion. I’m honored that my fellow workgroup members selected me as chair this year.]
Additional meetings on my calendar this week include a breakfast meeting with a constituent, a lunch meeting with community development leadership, a quarterly Community Health Improvement Plan update briefing, an RCRC legislative update call, and a meeting with BCAG to talk about proposed bus service between Chico and Sacramento with stops in Marysville and Plumas Lake.
Community events on my calendar this week include the Seniors on the Go Lunch Meeting in Olivehurst and an open house at the 3D printed home development in West Linda.
Looking ahead to this week (Week of 2/2)
Tuesday will be a Yuba Water Agency Board of Directors meeting, and a link to the agenda is here. Highlights include:

- We’ll also consider approval of a $3.0 million grant to Olivehurst Public Utility District to complete final design and permitting for the Wheatland-to-OPUD wastewater line — a key project supporting water quality, operational reliability, and future growth readiness.
