One of the duties of a County Supervisor is to represent the County on various boards, committees, and commissions. Some of these assignments are on internal committees, and some are with external agencies and organizations. Some of the external organizations have committees that supervisors can also serve on. In addition, Yuba County Supervisors also serve on the Board of Directors of the Yuba Water Agency and participate in Yuba Water-related committees and organizations as well.
The chair makes these committee assignments annually in January, and the list of 2026 assignments for the entire Board of Supervisors can be found here. The boards, committees, and commissions I will serve on during 2026 are listed below.
Supervisor Bradford represents Yuba County on the following boards/commissions:
- Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG)
- South Yuba Transportation Improvement Authority (SYTIA)
- Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC)
- National Association of Counties (NACo)
- Three Rivers Levee Improvement Authority (TRLIA)
- Yuba Sutter Transit
- Yuba Sutter Foodbank
- Golden State Connect Authority (GSCA)
- Golden State Finance Authority (GSFA)
- OPUD/County Liaison Committee
- Wheatland City/County Liaison Committee
