One of the duties of a County Supervisor is to represent the County on various boards, committees, and commissions. Some of these assignments are on internal committees, and some are with external agencies and organizations. Some of the external organizations have committees that supervisors can also serve on. In addition, Yuba County Supervisors also serve on the Board of Directors of the Yuba Water Agency and participate in Yuba Water-related committees and organizations as well.
The chair makes these committee assignments annually in January, and the list of 2024 assignments for the entire Board of Supervisors can be found here. The boards, committees, and commissions I will serve on during 2024 are listed below.
Supervisor Bradford represents Yuba County on the following boards/commissions:
- Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG)
- Greater Sacramento Economic Council (GSEC)
- South Yuba Transportation Improvement Authority (SYTIA) [chair]
- Three Rivers Levee Improvement Authority (TRLIA)
- Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC)
- National Association of Counties (NACo)
- Yuba Sutter Economic Development Corporation (YSEDC)
- OPUD/County Liaison Committee
- Wheatland City/County Liaison Committee
- Beale Military Liason Council (BMLC)
And serves on the following subcommittees of those boards/commissions:
- Chair of SACOG Transportation Committee
- Member of the SACOG Mega Region Working Group
- Member of the SACOG Strategic Planning Committee
- Member of the RCRC Roadway Infrastructure Ad-Hoc Committee
- Member of the NACo Telecommunications & Technology Committee (T&T)
- Member of the NACo Rural Action Caucus (RAC)
- Member of the CSAC Housing, Land Use and Transportation Policy Committee (HLT)
Supervisor Bradford serves on the following internal County Committees:

- Yuba County Land Use Committee
- Yuba County In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority
Supervisor Bradford is vice-chair of the Yuba Water Agency Board of Directors and serves on the following Water Agency Committees:
