Looking ahead to this week (Week of 4/20)

Because I’ll be in DC for Cap-to-Cap for almost a week, including a weekend, I’m including three weeks in this Week in Review post, the previous week (4/6), and the next two weeks (4/13 & 4/20).  I’ll be joining over 400 delegates from the six-county Sacramento area in DC to advocate for our region before our congressional representatives and relevant federal agencies.   I’ll primarily be advocating in the transportation and flood risk reduction policy areas (see specific details here), but will also participate in a session hosted by the Civic Amanities team called “Better Together: Regional Visions and Planning for Collaborative and Connected Civic Amenities,” where I’ll discuss the master plan for the area adjacent to Hard Rock.

I’ll be unable to attend due to being in DC, but Tuesday is a Yuba Water Agency Board of Directors meeting, and once the agenda is published, you’ll find a link here.

Other board and committee meetings on my calendar included:

  • Northern California Water Association (NCWA) Board of Directors meeting
  • Yuba Sutter Foodbank Board of Directors meeting

Additional meetings on my calendar this week (after returning from DC) include the NCWA Day at the Ranch and a media survival session hosted by the Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC).
